FUNCTIONAL 3D PRINTING

Made to
do the job.

Kreva3D produces functional 3D printed components for practical applications where fit, material behaviour and real-world use matter.

BUILT FOR USE

Function comes
before decoration.

Functional parts require more than a printable shape. Geometry, orientation, interfaces, expected loads and material properties all influence whether a component will perform as intended.

Kreva3D reviews projects around their application so the manufacturing approach supports the way the finished part will actually be used.

APPLICATIONS

Parts with
a purpose.

Components designed for equipment, workshops, products, assemblies and specialised requirements.

01

Brackets & Mounts

Purpose-built supports, holders and mounting components designed around specific dimensions and equipment.

02

Housings & Covers

Custom enclosures, protective covers and component housings produced to suit the required geometry and use.

03

Jigs & Fixtures

Workshop and production aids for positioning, holding, alignment and repeatable operations.

04

Mechanical Components

Functional parts for assemblies where geometry, fit, movement and material behaviour matter.

05

Adapters & Interfaces

Components designed to connect products, equipment or systems that were not originally intended to work together.

06

Custom Tools

Specialised tools, guides and application-specific aids produced for individual workflows and requirements.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS

Designed around
the requirement.

Strength where it matters

Part orientation, geometry and material selection should follow the forces and loads the component is expected to experience.

Fit and dimensional intent

Clearances, interfaces and tolerances are considered around the function of the part rather than appearance alone.

Material performance

Different applications may prioritise impact resistance, flexibility, heat performance, weather resistance or stiffness.

Production practicality

The part is reviewed for manufacturability so design intent and the printing process work together.

MATERIAL MATTERS

Performance starts
with material.

A bracket, flexible grip, outdoor component and heat-exposed part may all require different materials even when their geometry is equally simple.

Available options include PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PC, Nylon and carbon-fibre reinforced materials, subject to the specific project requirements.
